Hello Scentsy Friends Old and New!
So how did I get here right? Well here it goes.. I hate fire and candles, I am just not comfortable with flames at all except enjoying maybe a bonfire or the glow of birthday candles on a birthday cake but no candles for me. However...I love great smells. I was the kid that loved walking by the candle store in the mall and sniffing all the votive candle scents while my mom shopped. With kids and cats and my own dislike of flames, Scentsy is the natural choice for me!
I joined Scentsy in February 2019 thinking I was never going to sell and only wanted to earn some money back on my own purchases. I was a single mom of two young kids not receiving child support and while I have a good corporate job I always needed a little extra money for the fun stuff. I fell in love with Scentsy and wanted it all. Then I had an aha moment and wondered why I was letting someone else earn the commission on my purchases when I could be getting that money instead. I told my Sponsor from the get go not to expect me to sell or set goals or anything like that.
I did attend a few local sample nights with my SSD and some other ladies just for the girl time. After awhile, I started seeing that others were working their businesses and most importantly having fun and making money I started to get curious to see what I could do with this opportunity. My friends and family were supportive however there were not a lot of orders coming in from my regular circle. So I got brave and put myself out there. And I started meeting people and the orders started coming in. And I was making friends..and having a LOT of fun. After about a year of watching and learning I started offering the opportunity. I wanted to be sure that if I was going to encourage others to join that it was worth it. I promoted to Lead Consultant March 2020, Star Consultant in May 2020, Superstar Consultant in September 2020, and Director in September 2021. I have a team of 49 and am blessed to be part of this amazing company! Scentsy has changed so many lifes for the better and it could change your life too.
